Dr. Seyed Ehsan Fatemi is an Associate Professor at the Water Engineering Department, Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Razi University. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering and his research interests encompass Deep Learning and AI, Data Science and Machine Learning, Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), Multi-Criteria Decision Making, Conflict Resolution among Stakeholders, System Dynamics in Water Resources, Systems Engineering of Hydro-systems, Climate Change Impacts on Water Resources, and Decision Making under Uncertainty. Dr. Fatemi has supervised over 20 MSc students and 5 PhD students and has provided training on IWRM and water quality models to regional water specialists in Kermanshah, Ilam, and Kurdistan provinces. He has authored two books and published more than 10 academic papers. In addition, he served as the Executive Director of the 3rd National Conference on Deficit Irrigation and Use of Unconventional Water in Dry Regions at Razi University in February 2023 and was awarded the Best Lecturer in Water and Environment in Iran’s water and electricity industry in 2022.
